After another day of mild temperatures, temperatures will begin to cool slightly as a cold front pushes into the state.
The National Weather Service says the cold front is expected to move into northern parts of the state on Monday and gradually push south.
Daytime temperatures on Monday are to range from the upper 50s in northeast Oklahoma to the lower 70s in southwest portions of the state, with overnight lows dipping into the 30s.
Temperatures were mostly in the lower 70s across the state on Sunday, ranging from 65 degrees in Ponca City to 75 in Gage in northwest Oklahoma. It reached 70 degrees in Tulsa and 71 in Oklahoma City.
Sunny skies are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, with daytime highs ranging from the mid 50s in eastern Oklahoma to the mid 70s in the Panhandle and overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.
Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Thursday, with highs in the 50s and overnight lows in the 30s to lower 40s.
Friday will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the 50s and overnight lows in the 20s and 30s.
